Delta-8 Flower

As the original CBD Flower company, we are also one of the first to offer Delta 8 Flower. Since then, we’ve strived to offer quality Delta 8 Flower in a variety of options ranging from Bulk Delta 8 Flower to Double Dosed strains such as our popular Citron.

What is Delta-8 Flower?

Delta-8 Flower is a term used when referring to CBD Hemp Flower that has been infused with Delta-8 Distillate, either dipped, sprayed, or cold infused.

Although it was available exclusively in small batch options in the early days of the Delta-8 THC craze, the industry has grown to a point where fans of Delta 8 infused flower can easily find bulk options such as small buds, machine trimmed, and bucked infused Delta-8 hemp buds.

Delta-8 Flower vs CBD Flower

Although Delta 8 flower and CBD flower may appear similar at a glance, they are drastically different.

This difference stems from the effects that Delta-8 Flower can create in comparison to CBD flower.

While CBD Flower is known for having little to no psychoactive effects (depending on the entourage effect), Delta 8 Flower is known for being mildly psychoactive, and commonly referred to as a “diet weed”.

Types & Strains of Delta 8 Flower

With CBD Flower being the heart of Delta-8 Flower, you’ll find that there’s a variety of tiers available.

Sun Grown

Commonly referred to as outdoor, these are the most budget friendly options. These are hemp buds from a large scale outdoor grow that have been infused with Delta-8 THC.

Greenhouse

A great middle ground for quality and price, the greenhouse options of today tend to be a step higher in quality than outdoor delta-8 flower. These are likely to have a cleaner trim, more potency (before infusion), and are a solid bang for your buck option.

Indoor

These tend to be the highest quality Delta-8 flower options available. Indoor Delta 8 Flower strains are top shelf CBD buds that have been grown with a high priority and great genetics that allow for maximum cannabinoid contents. Once infused, you get the greatness of Delta-8 THC, strong terpene profiles, and beautiful hand-trimmed buds.

Effects of Delta 8 Flower

You might be asking yourself “Diet weed?”

That’s right. Although it may sound funny at first, those who are experienced with their cannabinoids can tell you that Delta-8 is essentially like a more mild version of the highly regulated Delta-9 THC. This stems from their molecular similarity. Being nearly identical, these two cannabinoids have similar affects and interact with our ECS in similar ways!

As such, depending on the cannabinoid profile of the flower, the effects you can expect once consumed are as follows

Euphoria

Delta-8 THC is known to produce feelings of happiness and well-being, often described as a “buzzy” or “floaty” feeling.

Relaxation

Many users report feeling a sense of relaxation and calmness after using Delta-8 THC, which may help to reduce stress and anxiety.

Increased Appetite

Delta-8 THC is known to stimulate the appetite, commonly referred to as “the munchies.”

Dry Mouth

Delta-8 THC is known to cause dry mouth, which can lead to thirst and discomfort.

How to Use Delta 8 Flower

A common question we’ve seen come up is the topic of the best ways to use Delta 8 Flower.

Much like traditional cannabis, or even CBD flower, there’s a variety of ways to enjoy your sticky Delta 8 Bud.

There’s no rules; treat it as if it was a regular THC flower. You can roll it up in a joint or blunt, or you can even use your favorite glass piece, such as a bong or pipe, to enjoy it more moderately.

As with any THC products, always start slow to gauge your body’s response, and avoid operating any heavy machinery following a heavy Delta 8 smoke session.

Benefits of Using Delta 8 Flower

In comparison to enjoying a delta-8 cart, delta-8 flower can be more appealing to cannabinoid fans for a few reasons.

However, the main draw to Delta 8 infused hemp flower is that it’s a fantastic way to experience the entourage effect.

By combining the natural cannabinoid profile of different CBD flower strains with the added effects of Delta-8 THC, many users have found the synergy between all the cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, Delta-8, etc) to be very enjoyable, and even a great stepping stone towards more complex multi-cannabinoid products.

Can you Grow Delta 8 Plants?

Unfortunately, Delta-8 Flower doesn’t grow naturally. In comparison to Delta-9 THC rich cannabis buds, Delta-8 THC is only found in a miniscule amount in natural hemp plants.

While breeders have been able to maximize Delta-9 THC levels in many marijuana strains in the recreational market, the likelihood of a Delta-8 THC rich cannabis strain coming around anytime soon is fairly low.
