This is due to the nature of THCa as a cannabinoid. Being a pre-cursor to Delta-9 THC, the combustion causes THCa to decarboxylate – which in turn triggers it to change to Delta-9 THC.

I got 14g of the Apple Tarts. I found it tastes good at 330 F in my potv lobo. Smoky at 392 F but a strong body stone as a result. I double up on my activated charcoal filters for the high temps. My lungs appreciate the dhv over combustion, however, the vapor can still leave me hacking if it’s too hot. I’m guessing the dryness of the bud accounted for its affordability, however, I can manage that much better than bud that’s too sticky upon delivery. Flavor is muted but I detect floral, almost sweetly cloying notes.
