Legal Information
While technically THCa isn’t Delta-9 THC, it should be noted that it’s likely to show on a THC focused drug screening.
This is due to the nature of THCa as a cannabinoid. Being a pre-cursor to Delta-9 THC, the combustion causes THCa to decarboxylate – which in turn triggers it to change to Delta-9 THC.
Those who are expecting a drug screening should refrain from smoking THCa flowers as a precautionary measure.

I would actually put this at maybe 3.5/5 because 3/5 seems too low. Tastes and smokes just fine but the buds themselves weren’t spectacular. 19% isn’t bad by any means but a little bit higher and I’d give it a 4

While the hash community largely frowns upon both dark rosin and shattery rosin, I doubt that any of them have had high hopes for a flower that returns nothing but stinky black taffy. Most have probably not had anything other than rosin coming from 6-star full melt, or made their own ever for that matter. Dark really doesn’t mean much on its own, and shattery either means not very terpy or lower ratio of fats/waxes to THC. No shatter I’ve made has suffered from a lack of potency, including the 2nd press shards of coal. The flower itself was nicely groomed and it has a very sweet and smooth terp profile. Buds were medium to large and in good shape when they arrived. I wound up with just over 18% from 1st press in a consistency that’s not at all difficult to handle or weigh individual dabs with. While it’s far from my absolute best, I’m sure that I’ll enjoy dabbing it. This is at least on par with what I expect from a decent greenhouse grow–so not perfect but still a good value for the $$. Edit: This buddered up very nicely after a short cure and it dabbed respectably. Taste was OK, a little harsh and not sweet/fruity like the smell of this profile. Still this was a lot better than some of the greenhouse mids that I’ve pressed with little to no taste at all. One dab and you definitely know that it came from real cannabis.
